We start out from food to develop emotive communication tools for companies
Our catering services are designed to be communication tools: a food experience which starts out from the food itself to communicate by creating sensory engagement with guests.
Our starting point is our customers’ ideas, going on to offer unconventional solutions in which the service becomes the chance to tell stories about food, peoples, culture and traditions, involving the guests themselves and putting them in a leading role.
The goal is to amaze both mind and palate, allowing our customers to communicate in an innovative manner through food itself.
We cannot define ourselves as a CATERING CONCEPT company without having our own concepts, however.
This is why, every year, we create the Flyfood Topic which we recount to all our clients in concrete terms through storytelling and specifically developed settings, so that they can offer it at their own food event if they wish.
We wished to dedicate the topic Connections to the links between food and local territories. We wished to interpret the connection between food and local territory, which the link with psycho-physical well-being derives from.
Food closely links people, the lives of communities, and the management of production processes with health and quality of life, natural resources, terrain and biodiversity, waste management and production, and protecting the quality of the air and water.
With regard to the relationship between food and local territories, we are reasserting the local and regional nature of food, which is once again becoming the “medium of nutritional, cultural and social values”, driven by localised and ‘rehumanised’ supply chains.
Connections emerge from this process between local territories, communities, people and traditions, as well as links between the environmental impact, natural resources and maximisation of biodiversity.
This set of values is linked to personal well-being, which represents the actual value on the basis of which to assess one’s own life experience.
These reflections give rise to the “Connections” Catering Concept, which summarises the specified elements in the foods on offer and in the physical settings.
“For us, food is culture, it is storytelling, and those stories are made up of words.”
We selected twelve words, one per month, which represent macro-trends from the contemporary world, as well as our way of doing business, structuring relationships and our day-to-day choices.
Story - Memory - Culture - Inspiration - Sharing - Respect -
Biodiversity - Transparency - Innovation - Beauty - Life - Balance
We then used these as the starting point for our journey between stories, food and words.
